The MF 2200 Series inherits its design from it predecessor, the MF 2100 Series. The 2200 Series includes additional features to enhance baling performance. This range of square balers make dense, well-shaped bales and are renowned for their reliability, longevity and low cost of ownership.
Some machines in the Series have 17 knives and others have 26 knives. The knives are arranged in two barks which can be simply engaged and disengaged from the cab. The baler has a huge capacity, leading to great bale density and superb shape thanks to the award winning pre-compression chamber design. The baler contains one of the heaviest and strongest plunger in the industry. The plunger is driven by a huge gearbox with massive strength to produce highly compact bales.
The OPTIFORM bale chamber is engineered to produced bales with perfect shape and incredible density. The bale chamber ensures optimal formation of the bale. The baler has a double-knotter system pioneered for the last 40 years. This renowned system has tied millions of bales and is still used in the latest MF balers.
