The 8S comes with three transmissions the new DYNA-7 powershift transmission, DYNA E-Power dual clutch transmission and continuously variable DYNA-VT transmission offers the best comfort and fuel efficiency in its class. These transmissions to deliver more power when its needed most. One factor Massey Ferguson focused on was the cab comfort in this tractor. The 8S offers the quietest and most comfortable cab on the market. The cab offers 360° visibility and a noise level of only 68dB. The tractor offers cab and front suspension improving driving comfort over rough terrain.

The digital dashboard provides all the needed information at a glance. There are several technology tools available to use in cab to make life easier and farming more precise. Tools such as Datatronic 5, Fieldstar 5, MF TaskDoc, etc. are all technologies available to 8S users. The 8S model range has up to five rear spool valves and three front spool valves depending on the spec of the tractor model. The 8S excellent hydraulic system and high lift capacity hitch makes work easier, faster and more efficient for the user.
