In spite of its compact form, the MDS offers a high degree of working space for comfortable ergonomic control. The wide 1.90 m hopper can be quickly filled from any top loading system, while hopper extension sets, providing up to 1800 kg payloads, give a high performance with adaptation to all field sizes.
A short centre of gravity distance (53 cm) reduces the amount of tractor front weights. Both upper and lower links have two coupling points offering optimal attachment positions, especially useful when late top dressing. The MDS can be supplied as standard with a two-cylinder hydraulic remote control, which allows independent operation of both shutter slides to achieve left- or right-hand spreading: stepless flow control of application rates from 3 kg/ha by means of large stainless steel scale segments, located on both sides of the spreader for independent left- or right-hand precision spreading.
